About Me

I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana.  I was fortunate to live overseas for many years, ten of those in London, England. Returning to the United States for my undergraduate work at Rollins College, in Winter Park, Florida, I double majored with honors.  I received an MFA from New York University and moved to California shortly thereafter.   I have an MA in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Phillips Graduate Institute.  I am currently an adjunct faculty member in the school of psychology at National University.

I completed an internship in Postmodern therapy concentrating in Solution Focused and Narrative therapies.  With a desire to broaden my psychological perspective, I also attended a Modern internship focusing on Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral and Family Systems training.   One therapeutic approach does not always resonate with every client, so I enjoy bringing my diverse background into the session room to tailor my work to your needs.
